Welcome to the website for the Game Critics Awards, an independent group of journalists from 36 leading North American media outlets that cover the videogame industry.
Starting in 2008 the Game Critics conducts a critics poll for the Game of the Year to recognize outstanding titles released during the previous calendar year. The full list of the top 10 winners for 2007 is now available. 2008 nominees will be announced in early January 2009.
Each year the Game Critics Awards also present its Best of E3 awards. These awards recognize the games that will shape the future of interactive entertainment, as demonstrated via hands-on playable form at the E3 Media and Business Summit in Los Angeles, CA.
